I love being outdoors and spending time with my family. Though my life goal is to become a Spanish teacher, if I could do anything with out failing I would open my own bakery. Chi Delta means sisterhood. I have met some of my best friends in this group. Joining this group was one of the best decisions I have made, and I would not change anything!

"Hello everyone! I am Megan Chelle, a junior from Neligh, Nebraska. I am currently a Environmental Science major with a Biology minor. I actually realized I wanted to be a Chi Delt before I knew I was going to Doane University. My older sister was a Chi Delt, and I just saw how special and unique the group was and wanted to be apart of it. It has changed me so much. I have learned how to be a stronger woman within relationship and how to have more open and honest communications. We stand for women empowerment and stand up to sexual assault with No Means November. This experience was the best decision when coming here since I got the best sisters a girl can ask for."

Hi! I’m Maddie, and I pledged Chi Delta in 2015. I’m a junior history major, English and religious studies double minor, and I’m on Doane’s golf team and involved in choir. I love nature and being outdoors, traveling to exciting places, and learning new things about history. I also really enjoy tea, cats, and glittery things. Chi Delta has given me the most incredible sisterhood and I feel so lucky to have so many amazing women as sisters and my support system when I need them. I’m so proud of everything that Chi Delta stands for and I know I wouldn’t be the person I am today without this group. My experience in Chi Delta is something I will always be thankful for and I don’t know what I would do without my wonderful sisters.

Hi! I'm Shelby, and I'm the Vice President of Chi Delta. I'm a junior Music Education major from Blair, Nebraska, and I am involved in both choir and band at Doane. I love honeybees, sweaters, and drinking way too much coffee. I try to travel and go on trips anytime I have the opportunity. I also love nature and spending time outside.
I never planned on joining a sorority. I was very skeptical about Greek life and was hesitant about accepting my Chi Delta bid freshman year, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I have ever made. This group of powerful and unique women has given me so much love and support and helps me grow into a better person everyday. Chi Delta allows me to be an individual and does not expect me to change who I am to fit into the sorority, and that is so important to me. I would not be as strong and confident as I have become without this group. I am so proud to be a Chi Delt.

I am a sophomore music education major from Gering nebraska, a proud member of ΧΔ PC'16, and secretary for the sorority. The three things I am most passionate about in this world are ΧΔ, Disney, and Nutella...sometime Nutella and then Disney, but my X-Trianlges are always first. This wonderful pride of women help me become more courageous each and everyday. They support my individuality while promoting an amazing sense of sisterhood. I don't know where I would be without these incredibly strong, quirky women.

Hey, there! My name is Katelyn Pohlmann, and I am a Sophomore Music Education and Vocal Performance double major from Deshler, Ne. I was born on November 11, 1996, and I pledged Chi Delta in 2016 (an amazing start to a new decade for me!). I love coffee, listening to indie/folk/pop music--Judah and the Lion is my favorite band--, and pondering life outside on beautiful Spring days! If I’m not studying music in the Communications building, you can find me hidden in the basement of the library with a cup of coffee in hand or grabbing an iced caramel macchiato at Common.
Chi Delta truly changed my thoughts on life and how to live. With traumatic events that happened in my life, I found support, encouragement, love, and a family in Chi Delta. The group always had a shoulder I could cry on, and it was then that I realized that was what family looked like. To this day, I can say that Chi Delta has been one of the best and greatest decisions in my life. I love each and every one of my sisters, and every day we grow in love and trust together. “Oh, I’m proud to be a Chi Delta girl….”

I wouldn't be who I am today without this group of women!

Hey! My name is Hannah Schievelbein and I’m from Chappell, Nebraska (a tiny town in western Nebraska). I am a sophomore double majoring in psychology and sociology. Chi Delta has changed my life by being my support system and family away from home. When I have a bad day I know that I can go see them and they can cheer me up. The sorority has also helped me get involved in more things on and off campus. Examples of this would be like: going to new events to support my sisters, doing charity work I wouldn’t have otherwise known about, and helping support causes important to Chi Delta and myself. Another great thing Chi Delta has done for me is helped me meet new people inside and outside of the group. Essentially, Chi Delta has become a family for me and opened up new opportunities for me.

Hi, my name is Rebekah Thimes and I am a sophomore chemistry major and math minor. I am originally from New York but live in North Platte, NE. I'm in love with coffee, dogs, all things science, and this sisterhood.
Going Greek was never in my plan here at Doane, but it is still the best decision I have ever made because this group has instilled a confidence in me that I have never known. After searching my whole life to find a feeling of belonging, I finally found it when I saw the pride in my sisters eyes when they welcomed me into their open arms. There is no better way to explain what Chi Delta means to me than to call it home.

I pledged in 2016 and I love this sorority. My favorite thing about it is the support and love within our group. Women’s empowerment and sexual assault awareness are also some very important things that we focus on that I also am very passionate about.
